My reading habits

  I hardly ever read for pleasure as the main reason. Most of the time, I do it following a twofold objective: work-information, education-information, pleasure-education. My reading habits still have to do either with my field of specialization or with education. I have just finished my doctoral thesis and I think this fact has modelled my reading habits. I usually read in different languages, I prefer to get the authors’ points of view directly from their hand. Some other times it is so because I am comparing original texts with their translations. I never read poems or lyrics, but plenty of blogs, websites, articles, textbooks, and emails, etc. texts that are more commonly related to work, studies or self-development. I also read graded texts to find materials for my students. In a more personal sphere, I enjoy reading blogs about productivity, finance, house making, family caring, etc. I usually access this type of information in an online format.
